Arrival at
Beijing Capital International Airport

The plane I was on was an international flight of the People’s Republic of China, but for some reason, it stopped at the end of the runway, which was quite far from the terminal building.

We were to board a bus that was delivered there from afar, and was “lowered” into the wing of the building, passing by many unused Sky Boarding Bridges at the sides. From there, we walk to immigration counters.

The district called Sanlitun, which is marked by a green road, is located northeast of central Beijing and is home to embassies from various countries, and is also known as a residential area with many foreigners.

While walking around the Sanlitun area, I found a very stylish coffee and cake shop, ASSAGGI.

It’s mid-October, the leaves in the parks and streets are starting to turn red, and the air seems to be nice.

The vehicular traffic is light this city center, so it seems comfortable to go out by bicycle.
